1. I did my Shred before going out of town on Friday.

2. I packed my DVD and dumbbells.

3. Unfortunately, I did not unpack them once I got to the hotel.

4. Yup. Pretty much took the weekend off.

5. I’m okay with that.

6. I have been having horrible, terrible, sciatic nerve pain in my left/hip and leg. It really sucks.

7. My arm muscles are getting quite buff. Seriously. Like, way bigger than when I was lifting weights 3x per week before the Shred!

8. I flex. A lot.

9. I did well with my eating. Until Saturday. But I am back to doing well again.

10. I think I will stay on Level 2 of the Shred for a few more days, then move on to Level 3.

1.  I’m still shredding. This should be Day 8.

2. I only did about 1/3 of the program on Friday and skipped Saturday. Now I don’t know what I should do… call today Day 1, Day 6, or Day 8????

3. I did awesome with my eating last week. Until Friday. I was actually down a few pounds, now I am deathly afraid to see the damage that has incurred from the weekend.

4. I ate candy. Lots of candy. Candy is a weakness.

5. It is finally nice out today. I can see some green grass and the snow is almost gone. This makes me very, very happy.

6. I still have a sore throat. My husband has a super-bad, red, sore throat. He is going to the doctor in a half hour. I have a feeling we have a family of streptococcus invading us.

I’m On FIRE!

Let’s just hope it continues beyond Day One. ;o)

I did the usual gym-thing after taking the twins to school this morning. I did 30 minutes on the Precor AMT and 30 minutes on the Precor EFX for a total of 4.6 miles. Not too shabby since I was doing the hill workouts! I decided to forego the weight training today and instead did more cardio, since I knew what was coming when I got home.

I popped my 30 Day Shred DVD in and got to it. I absolutely despise the squat/weight combo. I think the chest flies and the jumping jacks were my favorite. I used 5-lb weights and maybe it was a little much, but I got through it and I will only be getting stonger, right? I have a feeling I will be feeling the burn later today!

I had Justin take my BEFORE pics when we got home from the gym this morning and I just downloaded them to my computer. I will definitely NOT be sharing them today, possibly in 30 days… we will see. I seriously wanted to barf when I looked at them. I hate being fat. Ugh.
