What’s new? How are things going? Ready for winter to be over?

My skin and head are so incredibly itchy I could die. I have totally had to borrow my husband’s dandruff shampoo this week. It’s bad. How embarrassing. And at the gym? My face just BURNS when I sweat. At least I have been getting back into the habit of going to the gym often.

I need to update my little iPod button over there —–>. I just need to transfer the file from my old laptop to the Mac. Among a million other files.

Justin and I were talking this morning about how nice it would be to just be able to go outside and mow the lawn and play on the trampoline and run around barefoot. I’m ready.

In an attempt to pull me out of my funk yesterday, my husband MADE me get out of bed and shower. I did not go to the gym, but he did drive me to the tanning salon and MAKE me go in while he waited in the car. And then we got Starbucks and went grocery shopping. Did I mention that was the first time I had left the house since going out for dinner with my Dad on Friday??

This morning I awoke with my dreams still fresh in my mind. I had dreamt of running a marathon. No lie. I actually ran and ran and ran. I remember waking up just drenched in sweat as well. That counts as a workout, right? Just kidding. ;o) I finished the 26.2 miles in two and a half hours. Holy crap! That is faster than my half-marathon time! Justin tried to analyze my dream on one of those websites, but basically I think it just means, “Hey, you need to get your ass to the gym!”

And I did. I went to the gym. It sucked. It was hard. But I went. And maybe, MAYBE, that is all I needed to make that sun start peeking through again.

I’ve really been in a funk again this week. I am having a hard time getting along with my other half, and it is really wearing on my mental health. This gray, cold, cloudy weather is not helping things either.
