First EAS Active Workout

I just finished my very first workout of the 30-Day Challenge on EAS Active. Here are my thoughts:

*I did medium intensity and felt it was not very challenging. Maybe just because it is Day One?? I was sweaty, but not

*I did have trouble w/the second set of squats… I am battling by back condition and couldn’t get low enough for it to register. I ended up skipping over it so that I didn’t injure myself further. Yes, Jodi (my physical therapist), my lower abs were tight. Hi!!!

*I might think about using a thicker resistance band.

*I like the inline skating.

*I used my Wii Board with it. Do you?

*I should have really worn a sports bra while doing it. Ouch.

    Wow!! You are superwoman! I tried it out Saturday night on EASY just so I would get a feel for it and I'm still hurting from it! I workout at night after my little guy goes to bed, so I'll let everyone know how it goes after I do it tonight! But I'm guessing I'm going to be in PAIN!

    I'm with you on it not being very challenging, but it's still fun! I like inline skate & the punching bag! You will do some thing different everyday! I don't have a wii board.
  • I have a wii board (it makes it so much easier to inline skate while using it!) but the batteries ran out of juice for it. The exercises aren't that challenging but they do get you up and moving and I like the fact that it changes what you are doing every day.

    The exercises aren't going to kill you. I felt a burn after day 2 but nothing crippling. I'm glad you're not pushing yourself too hard while nursing an injury. Taking care of that is always going to be the most important thing.

    There are days that I feel like even though I'm sweating like crazy, I want to do more. I just follow up with a custom or preset workout. You can always skip specific exercises in your 30 day workout routine, I never want to do more than 2-3 jumping exercises in one day, it just murders my knees.

    I don't have a Wii board so the Inline Skating is squat jumps.

    I liked the inline skating. It hurt like an em effer, but it was a good hurt. I did not use the Wii Balance Board, and I jumped really high ;)

    I did not use the Wii Balance Board and the squat jumps are evil, evil, evil.
  • I am not using the board yet because I am super clumsy and don't have a death wish...
    But, I might consider it if it makes the freaking inline skating less hellish!
