I am so proud of my team Purple for landing in the top 3 of the leaderboard this week! Woo-hoo! I hope everyone is enjoying their teams as much as I am, I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful group of women!

My hubby and I did the 2 1/2-mile loop around our neighborhood development this morning. We mostly walked and had two short spurts of jogging. It was painful, but it felt good to do and even better to stretch when we got home!

I am doing a 5K in a week and had high hopes of running the whole thing. Obviously, unless an extreme miracle happens, I will be signing up to walk. Maybe I will get my “running” 5K in later this summer.

Whether you walk or run, the important thing is you're doing it! No worries, you'll get that running 5K in before you know it!!
  • just keep working at it!! i promise if these thunder thighs can do it you can! :P if you're not doing c25k i'd recommend it.

also - please try to run as much as possible - leave nothing out there. you can always walk towards the end (but be sure to save up enough to run across the finish line!)
